Finally, the official word on Dhanush’s Asuran release date is out and it will be hitting screens on October 4, for the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. Actually, this is quite a profitable season for the producers as it extends into a long weekend due to the festive occasions of Aayutha pooja.
The film is directed by Vetrimaaran, who is collaborating with Dhanush for the fourth time after Polladhavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai. Manju Warrier is playing the female lead role in this film, which has musical score by GV Prakash.
