Dhanush’s Pattas that was released in January 15 for the Pongal festival has gone through a good show across Tamil Nadu. According to the trade reports, the film has made a decorous collection Rs. Rs. 12 Cr in couple of days. While the Day 1 collection report was Rs. 6.40 Cr, the second day had spanned a collection of Rs. 5.60 Cr. With couple of days pending for the Pongal holidays to get over, the film is expected to have a decent run ahead.
Written and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar, Dhanush plays dual roles in this movie, which has Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada in female lead characters. T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films has produced this film.
