Actor Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai turned out to be a success, earning just about Rs 70 crore from Tamil Nadu theatres. With the massive success, Ajith made an enormous record at Tamil Nadu's box office.
The film, directed by H Vinoth, is the debut Tamil production venture of Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor. The film stars Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan, and Abhirami in leading roles. Nerkonda Paarvai is the opening film of the Tamil remake of the 2016 Hindi film Pink.
