While Bollywood is now pulling up its socks to compete with the epical South Indian movies by making big budgeted flicks based on unique themes, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra happens to be one among them. The film directed by Ayan Mukherji also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in lead roles is based on the fictional drama of God’s weapon Brahmastra, which has its broken pieces hidden in different parts of India. While the film’s shooting is close on the heels of completion with the final schedule in Manali, it turns out to be a shock and disappointment for the fans as the movie’s release will be postponed to next December 2020.
It is said that the film that was initially reported of hitting screens for Christmas 2019 will be hitting screens in summer 2020.
It is due to the prolonged phase of VFX works that occupies major portion of the film and this news has been confirmed by the film’s producer Karan Johar.
