Suriya fans have lots of reasons to celebrate. With the last week release ‘Kaappaan’ exceeding everyone’s expectations and getting a good report in box office, the actor has now completed shooting for his next titled ‘Soorarai Pottru’. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and is produced by Suriya for 2D Entertainment. While Aparna of Sarvam Thaala Mayam is playing the female lead, the film has musical score by GV Prakash.
The film’s shooting was recently completed and the affirmation has been made that the movie will be releasing in January 2020. We had earlier reported that they are probably eyeing for the Pongal release along with Rajinikanth’s Darbar. Now, it is learnt through the trade sources that Soorarai Pottru will have worldwide release on January 24, 2020 for the occasion of Republic Day.
