Actor Karthi is rejoicing over the grand success of his recent release ‘Kaithi’, which has done a good business, although not exactly a 100-Cr club as promoted by the traders. Now Karthi is simultaneously working on his upcoming projects – Sultan and untitled movie directed by Jeethu Joseph of Papanasam fame. While Jyotika and Karthi are reportedly playing siblings in this movie, Sathyaraj will be seen as their father and Nikila Vimal as Karthi’s pair.
The producers SR Prakash Prabhu and SR Prabhu are producing this film, which is shot across different parts of India including Goa and Ooty. While the announcement was made the movie’s first look and title will be revealed today, the inside sources mention that the movie has been titled ‘Thambi’.
Although, there hasn’t been any official word from the team when we reached for their availability, we need to wait and watch what the exact one is. it is noteworthy that the Madhavan’s yesteryear movie directed by Seeman had the same title.
