Prabhu Deva made his directorial debut in Bollywood through ‘Wanted’, which was a remake of Tamil movie ‘Pokkiri’ directed by the same. The original version was in Telugu that featured Mahesh Babu and Ileana D’Cruz in lead roles with Puri Jagannath as the director. Initially, ‘Radhe’, Salman Khan’s next film with Prabhu Deva was supposed to be titled as ‘Wanted 2’.
However, the makers changed it as Radhe –India’s most Wanted Cop. It is worth mentioning that the film is almost like a sequel to Wanted, which in simple words ‘Pokkiri 2’ . According to the latest official announcement, Yash Raj Films has acquired the rights of the film and will be releasing it all over India for Eid 2020.
