Actress Banitha Sandhu of October fame is the heroine for Vikram's son Dhruv in the second shoot of Varmaa. Taking to Twitter, the producer of the movie Mukesh Mehta of E4 Entertainment, wrote, 'Banita Sandhu and Dhruv Vikram to romance in the new Tamil version of Arjun Reddy.
Varmaa, the official remake of the Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy. It began with Bala directing it, However after the final output, the producers expressed dissatisfaction over the product and scrapped the movie. They announced reshoot of the movie with a new director and a fresh cast. However Dhruv has been retained to do the lead role.
