After 31 days of Sayana Thirukolam of Athi Varadar in Kanchipuram, the idol will be kept in Ninra Thirukolam from tomorrow. on 1 July, the idol of athi Varadar was kept in Ninra Thirukolam at Vasantha Mandapam in the temple. In the last 30 days, over 45 lakh devotees offered prayers. President Ramnath Kovind, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Durga Stalin, wife of DMK president MK Stalin among others visited the temple.
This morning, Deputy Chief Minister O Pannerselvam was in Kanchi Varadaraja swami temple to offer prayers. Huge crowds thronged to see Athi Varadar and many swooned in heat. They complained lack of adequate facilities and blamed poor administration by police department. The devoitees are expected to come in large numbers to see Ninra Thirukolam and they want proper arrangements.
