The entire league of festivals of 2019 seems to be loaded with lots of releases this year. While the Pongal had Rajinikanth’s Petta and Ajith Kumar’s Viswasam, the Diwali day is bringing Vijay’s Bigil to the theatres. While Vijayadashami is expected to have Sivakarthikeyan’s Namma Veettu Pillai, the Christmas holidays will have the same actor’s Hero along with Dhanush’s Pattaas hitting screens.
Now the festive occasion of Vinayaga Chathurthi seems to be a platform for medium budget movies to get released. This includes Siddarth-GV Prakash starrer ‘Sivappu Manjal Pachai ‘, GV Prakash’s 100% Kadhal, Arya’s Magamuni and Samuthirakani’s Adhutha Saattai. The official announcements of some of these projects have been already made and few will have it made shortly.
