Amit Shah in TN, mega rallies in constituencies, OPS-EPS to share stage

BJP national president Amit Shah is addressing at least three election rallies in Tamil Nadu - Tuticorin, Sivaganga and Coimbatore. Alliance leaders including Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam will attend the event of Amit Shah, sources said. "BJP believes in the policy to answer goli (bullet) of terrorists with gola (bomb)," said Amit Shah at an election rally on outskirts of Paralakhemundi of Gajapati district in Odisha’s Berhampur parliamentary constituency, on Monday.

Stating that country is safe in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, martyrs of Pulwama terror attack had been avenged, Shah cited recent retaliatory air strike on terror bases in PoK with satiric remark that Prime Minister Modi was unlike ‘mauni baba’ Manmohan Singh. He attacked the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government in Odisha, likening it to a "burnt transformer".
