'Ahasa One' Sky Bridge in ITC Colombo, Sri Lanka

India's ITC One Hotel and Sapphire Residences achieved a landmark milestone on the picturesque Galle Face when its famous ' Ahasa One ' sky bridge connecting the two towers became an engineering reality.

It is the first sky bridge in South Asia and Sri Lanka and ITC, WelcomHotels and the design specialist Larsen & Toubro (L&T) are proud to have made it a reality.

The project comprises a 49-story Residential Tower (224-m) and a 28-story Hotel Tower (139-m), connected by a 54-m long sky bridge at levels 19 and 21, with an upper level outdoor pool deck and lounge / dining area at the lower level. The towers are surrounded by a four-storey podium which provides space for lobby, retail, office and special events. Four levels of basement dedicated to parking, MEP and back of the house functions.

Aside from being an engineering marvel, Ahasa One sky bridge will be the most distinctive and striking feature of Colombo's modern city and an iconic landmark. It's a first for both ITC and L&T too.
