The latest to join Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam is actress and comediene Kovai Sarala. She joined the party in the presence of the founder Kamal Haasan today at their Women's Day celebrations.

Kovai Sarala acted as Kamal Haasan's heroine in Sathi Leelavathy and appeared as comedian and character roles in over 500 films. She has been in the industry for nearly three decades. Kovai Sarala is also a popular name in Telugu cinema.
