The teaser of Vishal-starrer Ayogya will be released tomorrow. It is a Tamil remake of Jr NTR’s Telugu blockbuster Temper. Scheduled for April release, the film’s shooting began August 2018. Directed by Venkat Mohan, an erstwhile associate of director A R Murugadoss, Ayogya will have Raashi Khanna romancing Vishal. The project was originally planned with Simbu, but for unknown reasons, it never took off. Ayogya is Vishal’s 25th film.
Temper was recently remade in Hindi as Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh, and the film turned out to be a blockbuster. Ayogya also stars Pooja Devapriya, K S Ravikumar and Parthiepan in pivotal roles. The film features a special song by Sunny Leone. The film’s premise is based on a heinous rape and how it changes a corrupt police officer.
