Actor Rajinikanth has been summoned on Thoothukudi firing

Actor Rajinikanth has been summoned to appear before the Tuticorin police commision on the 25th.

The one-man commission, investigating the Thoothukudi police shooting incident, has asked actor Rajinikanth to appear before the commission on 25 February for his remarks at a press conference on anti-Sterlite protesters. The actor has been considered as an eyewitness at the Tuticorin shooting incident.

The Commission, headed by retired justice Aruna Jegadeesan, concluded its 18th phase of the investigation, which began on 22 January in Thoothukudi on Saturday.
