Actor STR has been showcasing his complete interest upon the film ‘Maanadu’, which went through some ups and down during the pre-production phase. Initially, it was mentioned that the shoot will commence in Coimbatore followed by Chennai.
Now it is said that the first leg of shooting will happen in Ramoji Film City. Touted to be a political thriller, the film has SJ Suryah playing the negative role and Kalyani Priyadarshan as heroine.
The film has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. SA Chandrashekar and Bharathiraja are playing important roles in this movie as well.
