150-yr old replica of Church remains dropped for Vijay Sethupathi film

Vijay Sethupathi has been constantly working on many projects and has lined up nearly 6 movies that are at different stages of production. While his upcoming film ‘Sanga Tamizhan’ is scheduled for release in October, the actor has now resumed the shooting of his untitled movie, directed by Venkat Krishna Rognath. It was earlier said that major portions of the film will be set against the backdrops of a 150-yr old church on hill station. Since, the makers could find the appropriate one; they decided to go for the erection of lookalike church by art director John Britto. However, it now said that the plans for creating the set work have been dropped. Now, the team is shooting across an old damaged church in Kodaikanal, where the remaining part of ambience is covered by Green matte.

Touted to be a romantic musical, the film’s story is set around the Christmas season and will have a pure romance for Vijay Sethupathi after a long time.
