Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami ingurated 14 bridges in the western district on Thursday at the cost of Rs. 35 crores, which includes Coimbatore and Tirupur, through video conferencing from Chennai.
He also laid foundation stone for a bridge across Bhavani near Bannari in Erode district. A statement released by the government said that the bridgese were inagurated in Karur, Dindugal, Tuticoirn, Trichy, Namakkal, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore and Dharmapuri.
“The government has been implementing several projects to implementing seversl projects to improve the road infrastructure keeping in mind the vehicular growth, road safty and industrial development" said in the statement.
