Karunanidhi didn't have confidence on Stalin: CM

Continuing his tirade against DMK president M K Stalin, Chief Minister and AIADMK joint coordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami has said late DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi had no confidence in Stalin. Speaking at Perambalur on Wednesday, the CM said, "Stalin hurls disrespectful remarks at a chief minister. You should keep it in mind that I can also give you a fitting reply in the same tone and tenor that will deafen you. But I never stoop low to criticise anyone."

Earlier, Palaniswami expressed confidence that Narendra Modi will be re-elected Prime Minister and ridiculed the opposition for not having chosen a prime ministerial candidate. Palaniswami criticised the DMK’s election manifesto. He claimed that the party’s president MK Stalin had made false promises which would never see the light of the day.
